How it works
Going alone is easier when you know a few faces before you arrive. Here's the whole trip.
Browse tonight and this week, or pick your city on the board. Every event is easy to join on your own; most are free.
Many of these events are also in the app — see who's going. Not there? Tap “+” to add it and gather a group.
Every event has its own chat, and each group going together gets its own room. Agree where to meet before you set off.
Walk in already knowing a name or two. The app keeps your plans, with a countdown and reminders.
The app
Meet & Mint: Events & Friends puts events and people near you on one map, with a chat for every event. Join alone, invite another adult, or host your own walk, dinner or game night.

Questions
Yes — that's the point. We pick guided walks, talks, language cafés, concerts and workshops where lots of people come on their own and there's a natural moment to talk. Nobody checks whether you came with a friend. The basics still apply: stay in the public event, tell someone where you're going, keep your own way home, and leave if anything feels off.
Come Alone is free, with no account, no login and no name asked — open a city and go. The events are run by other organisers: many of the upcoming ones are free (they carry a mint “Free” badge), some charge or ask you to register on their own page. Prices, times and booking rules can change, so always check the official page before you go.
The Meet & Mint team, from city open data and official agendas published by cities, venues and organisers — right now hundreds of upcoming events in 130+ cities. We summarise each event in our own words and link to its official page, where you'll find the original details and any last-minute changes.
Our app for iPhone and Android, Meet & Mint: Events & Friends. Events and people near you on one map, a chat for every event, join alone or with another adult, host your own event, and keep your plans with reminders. The app has its own account; this site doesn't need one.
Many of them are — events run or verified by our team are marked Meet & Mint Official. If one isn't there, tap “+” to add it and gather a group to go together; the team reviews added events.
Privacy is on by default: the app uses your approximate location unless you choose otherwise, you can hide from the map any time, who's going is hidden by default, and the exact meeting point is shown only to confirmed participants. You can block and report anyone. This site itself has no accounts; when you open an event's official page, that organiser's privacy rules apply.
In the app you can join alone, invite another adult, or bring kids when the host welcomes families. If an event is full, there's a waitlist.
